A nice smart Dahua install was completed for a great customer this week in Christchurch. I completed my first Provision CCTV install last week, and I was very impressed 👍 The client needed NDAA compliance CCTV for their buisness to follow the rules of the client contracts in their business. I installed 2x Eye Sight Bullet cameras on the front of the building, keeping an eye on all the staff and clients' carparks as well as the surrounding area. A great install was just completed for a great couple today that wanted to up the security around their lovely property. SCM Security was happy to help with 6x Dahua 6mp AI Wizsense around the house, covering all the important angles and door entrances. Another very happy customer with their new Elok upgrade before and after pictures. The new Elok series 9 stainless steel slim line comes with the features of pin code, phone entry, and swipe tags. All features of the lock can be programmed to the lock from the clients phone with the likes of pin codes, passage mode, adding/deleting tags, and much much more. With the added Elok gateway module, all programming changes and even opening the door and seeing the lock status of the lock can be done from anywhere you are with your phone. The Elok app also shows you the full events of who has unlocked the door and how with app/pin code or tag as well as notifications if you choose. With the swipe tags for the lock, the cool feature is that you can learn any mifare cards or tags into the lock. So you can use existing cards or tags you may have from work or the likes of a gym tag on your keys to open your door once learned in. The lock comes with backup keys. If you have accidentally left, the batteries get too low, so you don't have to worry about being locked out. This Elok is a great addition to your ever growing smart home or business 😎👍

A nice couple of pictures of old dated alarm systems removed and upgraded to the Ajax Hub 2 4G and Ajax Multi Transmitter. The great thing with the multi transmitters is that you can have 18 wired in zones with any security device on the end of the line from PIRs to Door Reeds to Glass Break detectors and many more. The Ajax multi transmitter counts as 1x device on the system, which the Ajax Hub 2 4G can take 100!! But the 18x zones do not count towards the 100, so you can have multiple transmitters to take lots and lots of zones on big systems 👍👍 Then, if you want to, you can add more of the Ajax wireless devices on top you can 😎 This is a great way to use Ajax on big sites with lots of zones without changing all the sensors, saving money at the time of change over. I managed to get my hands on one of the not released yet Ajax Touch Screen Keypads to have a play and to test its functions. I'm very impressed and think it's a great addition to the all ready awesome range of Ajax equipment. Ajax keeps amazing me with the awesome new products getting realised 👍👍 It's great that you will be able to arm and disarm your different areas with great visuals as well as control all your Ajax relays from the keypad as well as from your phone. This means the likes of garage door triggers, lights, gates, and any other home automation 😎 You can also add in the Ajax mifare tags/ cards to control areas and automation instead of using a pin code. Great job completed today 👍 Client contacted me and said we're needing an alarm and lights for our offices and containers but only have power during the day and on weekdays. Not a problem as always using Ajax Alarms!!! Using a 6v Ajax converter in the hub and then powered from a Cegasa EZ8 6v 600ah battery it will keep the Ajax Hub running stand-alone for up to a year!! With the room for up to 200 devices and 200 users' expansion is not a problem! 👍 It was great also getting my hands on and installing the new External Motion Camera PIR for the first time. All the other Ajax devices are battery-powered rated for up to 5 to 7 years on battery 😎 The light problem was sorted using 2x Philips LED solar lights. Next in the works is to install industrial solar powered cameras, which installed on top of a pole can be mounted anywhere and be seen on apps using 4G technology.
